Dear OBC Alumni and Friends,

We are thankful that you have chosen to visit the Alumni website, known as the Spirit of the Prophets.com. Our desire is that every graduate, current student and friend of Oklahoma Baptist College will receive a blessing and be enriched by understanding the vision and purpose of our Alumni Association.

From the first time you set foot in the hallways of OBC, heard the school song, and experienced the power of God's Word being preached daily in college chapel, God began to use OBC as an instrument to prepare you for the ministry to which the Lord called you. Because we share the experience of having attended OBC, we would like to stay in touch with you through a new website we have created. We would like nothing more than to keep graduates, current students, faculty, staff and friends of this ministry in better contact with one another.

Through the website, we would like to be a blessing to you in any way possible. We have designed the website so as to include a number of ways in which we hope to be of help to our Alumni. For example, to help you through any trials and difficulties you may be experiencing, we have established the Prophet's Prayer Closet. Another outlet we trust will be a blessing is known as Prophet's Helping Hands, which is a site through which items may be donated or sold to other OBC Alumni or friends. The link called Pinpointing Prophets will enable you to locate and communicate with other Alumni with whom you may not have had contact in some time. The link called Prophet Donations, will enable our Alumni to make donations and pay their membership fees on line. The website will also contain our Alumni newsletter, known as the Scroll of the Prophets. The archive attached to it will enable you to retrieve past issues of The Scroll, in the event you may have missed one.

I am grateful for the honor and privilege of being a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist College, the School of the Prophets. Being a graduate of OBC makes all of us a part of a rich and Godly heritage, for which we can all be grateful. As thankful as I am for past days at Oklahoma Baptist College, I am equally excited about the future of OBC.

Our involvement in OBC cannot be over-emphasized. My prayer is that you will assist me and many others to continue to develop, instruct and minister to the future pastors, church planters, missionaries, evangelists and educators who will soon come forth from your Alma mater. May we all work together to reach our nation which has strayed so far from God, as well as continue to carry the Gospel to the uttermost regions of our world today.

By God's grace, I wish to be a part of the ministry of Oklahoma Baptist College till Jesus comes. I encourage you to visit our new website. Capture the heart and vision of Dr. Tom Vineyard, Pastor of Windsor Hills Baptist Church, and President of Oklahoma Baptist College.
